Whitecroft Junction has changed from 6x4 to a 5x3 board which is now in the house, so its rather warmer which will help the locos and track etc. I did try using n gauge, but found it too small to work with,, so have now gone back to oo gauge. Having just purchased a Hornby Hunslet 060 with sound and its the first time round on the new layout. Hopefully there will be more to come when I can affo...

Hi, thanks for your comment, sadly I was only filming the first day, ended up with a bad back so I'm not able to film any more of this gala, but hope to do more filming in about 2 weeks time.

What's happened to all the railcam cameras at Minehead, Williton, Crowcome heathfield and Bishops Lydeard ? I make it five cameras that are gone. What a pity I used to enjoy watching the train movements at these stations.
Williton, Blue Anchor, Crowcombe are still working, Bishops Lydeard is off line at the moment.

Hi I am from New Zealand, I follow the Blue Anchor Webcam from RUclips, We are 13 hours ahead of UK, but still watching Blue Anchor even at mid night is a joy. Since the Webcam has a limited angle of vision, your excellent videos provides the answers to the surrounding scenery . Many thanks, much appreciated.

Thanks, first video since beginning of June, had get Hornby to reset my Railmaster coz I had my computer crash on me, so after a long wait, I'm now back to doing videos.

I like the DMU drag! Well, two thirds of the DMU anyway.
Do these run on red diesel ? Narrowboats use red, and also get a further tax exemption, so it would make sense that heritage railways get the same tax breaks. (?)

Good video, but from 9:16 it would have been better to have shown the home arrival signals as one must have been at 'stop' initially. Did the signal technician fix the problem with the down departure 'stick' (signal)?

Very interesting, both the radio's and the tubes, the ads, the magazines... I was less hummmm..... happy with the constant Kindergarten music on the background. And if it absolutely had to be a happy tune, why not go for Jack Hylton's Grasshopper's dance, I assume there are no longer copyright issues with that one either.... Or 'The sun has got his hat on (hip hip hip hoorah), one of "Inspector Morse" actor John Thaw's favorite songs in the 1970's, according to Dennis Waterman...

What has happened to RUclips coverage of the WSR ? It stopped about a year ago and you can no longer follow the trains " live" from bishops Lydeard to Minehead .It's a shame really given that you can follow the trains " live" on the SVR from Kidderminster to bridgenorth .
How England used to be, a slower pace of life and trains that actually worked.Thanks for the scenes, off to the Severn Valley Railway next Saturday for the steam gala.

A few years ago my son lived just up from Watchet station and worked in the Blue Anchor Inn, went to see him on train from Mainhead when on holiday there

Great video. Reminds me of her season on the Paignton railway back in, I think 1975/6. I was working on BR then. Travelled on Sunday ADEX excursions and rode behind her seven times that year!! Happy days 😀😀👍👍
